ATS FacilityHost
Your building management system’s (BMS) server keeps your facility operating smoothly by running the software that controls your mechanical and related equipment. Often this server can be neglected or even off the books of a facility’s IT department. An unattended server raises security and maintenance issues if not properly maintained and secured.
FacilityHost from ATS provides a secure manner to remotely host your BMS by moving your server from a physical PC located in your building to a private cloud network. Secure cloud networks increase security by removing physical access to critical facility systems that unauthorized users may access. Remote hosting removes server maintenance from your employee’s to-do-list, and it ensures your equipment is right-sized – storage and processing power only increase when needed.
FacilityHost requires the use of ATS FacilityShield, which provides additional protection by ensuring security patches and anti-virus software get continuously updated on your BMS server.
Pricing depends on the size and complexity of your BMS. To learn more or to begin FacilityHost for your building, contact ATS.

View Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add this service to my existing ATS Support Agreement?
Yes, talk with your ATS representative for details.
Can legacy BMS platforms be hosted remotely?
To be hosted and supported by ATS your BMS needs to be in current support from the software vendor. Contact your ATS representative with questions relating to your current version.
What happens if I lose internet connectivity?
Loss of internet connectivity would result in an inability to see your building’s graphical interface for the duration of the outage. It is important to note that the control system is designed to continue running during server outages. Schedules, trends and building control sequence of operation would remain healthy.
Do I have to utilize the FacilityShield service with FacilityHost?

Can I cancel the service?
Yes, but cancellation fees may apply. See Agreement Terms & Conditions.
What happens to my BMS server if I cancel this service?
Upon cancellation of the service, you will receive a digital copy of your building management system backup as well as the current version of the software it is running and your license file so that you can re-establish the server role at your desired location.
How long does setup take?
